Introduction

Join Team1 South Africa for an in-person Avalanche Academy Onboarding Lunch in Johannesburg.

This session is designed to get you set up and started on Avalanche Academy, while helping you build practical knowledge and skills around the Avalanche ecosystem.

Avalanche Academy offers learning paths that take you from blockchain and Avalanche fundamentals through to building dApps, smart contracts and more advanced Avalanche development.

Whether you’re a developer, student, founder, builder or simply interested in learning more about Avalanche, we’ll help you get onboarded, understand where to start and begin your learning journey.

The goal is simple: learn, build your skills and open yourself up to more opportunities within the Avalanche ecosystem.

No need to figure it all out alone, we’ll be going through it together.

A short introduction to Avalanche, Team1 and the opportunities available within the ecosystem.

11:45 AM — Avalanche Academy Onboarding

We’ll get everyone set up on Avalanche Academy and walk through the platform, learning paths and where to start.

1:00 PM — Lunch & Connect

We’ll take a break for lunch and give everyone some time to connect with other builders, students and community members.

2:00 PM — Back to Avalanche Academy

We’ll continue the onboarding, work through the Academy and help everyone get comfortable navigating the resources and learning paths available.

3:00 PM — Wrap-Up & Next Steps

We’ll close off the session with next steps so you can continue learning, building and exploring opportunities within Avalanche.

Avalanche Academy is part of the Avalanche Builder Hub and provides free learning resources and hands-on courses for people who want to understand and build on Avalanche.

Learning paths range from blockchain and Avalanche fundamentals to dApps, smart contracts, interoperability, Avalanche L1 development and other more advanced topics.

Participants can continue learning beyond the event and work towards certifications through the Academy.
