This workshop takes you from zero to building on Avalanche. You start with the basics, write real code, and finish with working deployments.

Workshop breakdown:
Session 1: Avalanche Introduction
- What is Avalanche and why you should care
- Architecture: C-Chain and L1s
- Ecosystem overview: DeFi, RWA, AI agents, onchain applications
- How students get involved: grants, programs, Build Games, Team1
Session 2: Hands-on Workshop
- Setting up your development environment
- Writing and deploying a smart contract on Avalanche
- Creating your own L1
- Testing and verifying your deployments
Session 3: Avalanche Speedrun
- Build anything you want on Avalanche
- Guided challenges and real-world project ideas
- Rapid experimentation and prototyping

What to expect:
- Bring your laptop. You will write and deploy code.
- No prior Avalanche experience needed. Basic programming knowledge is enough.
- Catered event with food and refreshments for all attendees.
- You walk out with deployed contracts, a working L1, and a project idea in progress.
Prerequisites:
- A laptop with internet access
- Basic knowledge of any programming language
- Node.js installed (latest LTS version)
